The Brighenti family welcomes you in his House, since 1911 which is a destination for romantic vacations on Lake Garda, "disturbed" only by the beat of the waves, by boats and by the rustle of fresh plants in the enchanting lush garden.

Our family, together with his cooperators, will sure that your stay on Lake Garda will be remembered not only for the sun and for the climate, but for the attention and cordiality that there has been reserved.

History and traditions

From the old Al Vapore to Hotel Brenzone, the tradition goes on.
Anna Alba, together with her son Pietro, runs the family hotel since 40 years, founded in 1911, purchasing it from a venetian countess, who hosts there important person of that ages.

Anna Alba proudly tells about the hotel, so rich in traditions, with peculiar ceilings and mediterranean garden facing the Lake. It was an ancient post office stagecoach station and in the last century, but also nowadays, romantic paddle boats dock to the jetty in front of the hotel.

Your charming hotel, with the shutters thrown open to the flowering garden, sitting right on the magnificent lake, was a wonderful spot to start what became a love affair with the area.
You and your staff accomodated us beautifully, and have always made us and our extended family feel welcome. (We particulary thank you for your gracious support on September 11, 2001).
The little village you are in is one of my favorite spots, because it makes me feel I've dropped into another century, but what an array of enticements the whole area provides. Visually, from the palm trees on the lake shore, sweeping up the mountainside through the terraced olive groves to the peaksand ski slopes above.
And what a catalog of activities we've enjoyed: swimming every afternoon in the clean fresh water, sailing, trips on the lake steamers to other towns, hiking on the ancient hillside and mountain paths, visiting Verona, Bolzano, Trento, Venice, Mantua, and many other cities so close to the lake.
The restaurants have spoiled us completely-the food is so consistently fresh and delicious and the service so consistently gracious.
We half-wish other Americans knew more about this area, and half-wish they never find out the secret of stepping off the tourist route and finding the real charm of Italy in Brenzone."
